LINPAC duo to speak at EuPC and CMT PET Conference

Alan Davey, our Director of Innovation, is speaking at this year?s European Plastics Converters Association conference in Vienna which runs from May 1 to June 1.
The EuPC is the EU-level Trade Association, based in Brussels, representing European Plastics Converters. Plastics converters (sometimes called "Processors") are the heart of the plastics industry.
Alan?s chosen topic is Innovation Challenges and Opportunities in Rigid Packaging Today.
Alan will begin his talk with a quotation from Winston Churchill - "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty" - which neatly sums up the tone and content of his address.
In his talk Alan will address the challenges facing the industry covering the
changing needs of the market; the effectiveness of packaging; the need to drive down food waste and delivering environmental benefits. He will also look as some of the some of the innovations driven by this view.
At the same time as Alan is giving his address Jo Stephenson, our Vice President Marketing & Innovation, will be talking at the CMT PET Conference, in Strasbourg.
The CMT PET Conference offers up to date business information on regional PET resin and packaging markets in Europe with a program agenda that incorporates latest market and technological developments in the entire PET Value Chain.
